Almost every Friday, my friend Haley and I go for lunch at different restaurants in Houston. I have always wanted to explore Houston for new places to eat, but couldn't find anyone adventurous enough to go with, that is, until I met Haley. A few Fridays ago, we visited French Riviera Bakery and Cafe, on 3032 Chimney Rock, Houston TX.
Haley ordered a mushroom quiche and a cappuccino, while I ordered myself a Ham and Swiss croissant. I would have to say that the croissant I had, was one of the flakiest and most buttery croissants I have ever eaten. I would also say that the quiche seemed to taste like the quiches at La Madeleine, but for a slightly cheaper price. The bakery also sells some yummy looking desserts that we unfortunately didn't have space in our stomach for.

(Ham and Swiss Croissant)
Overall, if you're looking for a nice place to get something to eat and some coffee, French Riviera is a tiny treasure in the middle of a busy city. The prices of the food also won't put holes into your pocket. So go check it out, and let me know what you guys think. Stay tuned for a new restaurant next week!
